The Authorized Economic Operator is a designation aimed at companies involved in foreign trade operations (manufacturers, carriers, customs brokers, distributors, among others), where the goal is for these companies, through the implementation of minimum security standards within their processes and operations, to reduce risks and, to a certain extent, help secure the international supply chain. In this way, the company is certified as a reliable company for customs authorities, not only in Mexico, but in all WCO member countries, which provides it with administrative and operational benefits.
